The Warrnambool primary school winter sports carnival is in full swing with competitions under way between schools in football, netball, tee ball and soccer. In games played so far, St Joseph's Primary School has won an inter-school soccer competition with Warrnambool East Primary School runner-up. Warrnambool Primary School won the boys tee ball competition, while the girls tee ball was won by Warrnambool West Primary school. Divisional finals for the School Sports Victoria (SSV) competition were held on Tuesday, July 24, with the winners to progress to regional finals in Geelong on Friday, August 3.
